Gareth Atkin, our sales and marketing director at Landau Parapan, has pedalled his way through punctures and chain problems to cross England by bike on a 170-mile coast-to-coast charity ride.
He took part in the Way of the Roses coast-to-coast cycle route this month, riding from Morecambe to Bridlington.
Gareth has raised more than £800 for L6ve Life Foundation, the charity set up by his friend and Motor Neurone Disease (MND) sufferer Lee Newton. L6ve Life Foundation provides funds for those who fight to find a cure and help those already living with MND.
Gareth said: "I was delighted to complete the Way of the Roses challenge, it was a great experience. Although, my bike took a bit of punishment with a puncture and two chain malfunctions!”
“But we raised lots of money for a great cause and I am already thinking this could be an annual event I take part in. I am going to see who else will join me from the Landau Parapan team next time!”
